April</a> <a href="2024" title="2024">2024</a><sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>2<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>) war ein deutscher <a href="Chemiker" title="Chemiker">Chemiker</a> und Professor für Anorganische Chemie an der <a href="Universit%C3%A4t_Bielefeld" title="Universität Bielefeld">Universität Bielefeld</a>.

<p>Jutzi studierte Chemie an der <a href="TU_M%C3%BCnchen" class="mw-redirect" title="TU München">TU München</a> und schloss sich der <i>Münchener <a href="Burschenschaft" title="Burschenschaft">Burschenschaft</a> Cimbria</i> an.<sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>3<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> Er beendete das Studium mit dem Diplom 1963 und wurde 1965 an der <a href="Universit%C3%A4t_Marburg" class="mw-redirect" title="Universität Marburg">Universität Marburg</a> bei <a href="Max_Schmidt_(Chemiker)" title="Max Schmidt (Chemiker)">Max Schmidt</a> <a href="Promotion_(Doktor)" title="Promotion (Doktor)">promoviert</a> (<i>Beiträge zur Chemie der Organozinn-Phosphine</i>).<sup id="cite_ref-4" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-4"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>4<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup> 1971 <a href="Habilitation" title="Habilitation">habilitierte</a> er sich in Würzburg [<i>Nichtklassische (p-p)<span class="mwe-math-element mwe-math-element-inline"><span class="mwe-math-mathml-inline mwe-math-mathml-a11y" style="display: none;"><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" alttext="{\displaystyle \pi }">

</p><p>Jutzi befasste sich mit Metallorganischer Chemie, speziell mit der Dynamischen Covalenten Chemie von Gruppe-13-Elementen, mit Cyclopentadienylverbindungen der Hauptgruppenelemente, mit π-Komplexen des niederwertigen Siliciums, mit dem Bildungsmechanismus und der Präparation von Metall- und Metalloxid-Nanopartikeln sowie mit Metallasilsesquioxanen im <a href="Chemische_Gasphasenabscheidung" title="Chemische Gasphasenabscheidung">CVD</a>- und Sol-Gel-Prozess.

</p><p>2002 erhielt er den <a href="Alfred-Stock-Ged%C3%A4chtnispreis" class="mw-redirect" title="Alfred-Stock-Gedächtnispreis">Alfred-Stock-Gedächtnispreis</a>, 1992 den <a href="Max-Planck-Forschungspreis" title="Max-Planck-Forschungspreis">Max-Planck-Forschungspreis</a>, 2000 den F. S. Kipping Award und 1987 den Wacker Silicon Preis. 2007 war er Fellow der <a href="Japan_Society_for_the_Promotion_of_Science" class="mw-redirect" title="Japan Society for the Promotion of Science">Japan Society for the Promotion of Science</a>.
